WordPress Website Design Project
The KCFA website is a directory style website, complete with a complex search and filter solution behind the scenes. For the user the UX is simple and unassuming, allowing the user to find the most suitable company using simple filters.
The Kent Corporate Finance Alliance requested a simple, clean and modern corporate design. Their existing website had become tired and out of date, they wished to inject some colour and movement into the website.

Creating the KCFA directory website
Creating a directory that is functional for the user when pages/services or in this case KCFA members fit into more than one category is a more challenging website development project. This website includes a powerful advanced filtering system for taxonomies, it uses AJAX which means that the results page doesn’t need to reload and no submit button is needed. The results are displayed upon selection of the appropriate search selection.
We are super impressed with how this website functions, the search function previously was structured by company name and thus users had to know exactly the company they were searching for in order to find them in the directory. Now the user has a much more useful search function where they are able to search for companies under their specialism, or advisory ability – enabling them to choose a company which fits their needs, not just a company they had previously heard of.
