Brand Development
Logo Design: Develop existing logo to be professional, but not feel corporate.
The image to the left shows the development and transformation of Sustainable Kirriemuir’s existing logo—slide the arrow to see the transformation. The hand drawn icon was inspired by a local artist based in Kirriemuir and sits nicely alongside the imperfect typeface – to give a friendly, handmade and community inspired look/feel. Logo’s were provided in a range of formats and files suitable for print and digital use.
Brand Colours: Bold and Friendly, but not childish
The Sustainable Kirriemuir brand uses a strong recognisable teal colour, which is supported by a selection of carefully chosen secondary colours. The Teal remains the focus of the logo and will be used consistently throughout their marketing and design material. The colours used in blocks make it easier for the user to navigate the website and digest the large amounts of information more easily. Basic brand guidelines were supplied.

The Sustainable Kirriemuir website uses a combination of strong colours, playful but mature. The graphics and local photography bring the website to life, helping to convey important messages in an interesting and engaging way.
The website is built in WordPress, and hosted on our impressive Green Hosting platform, which is completely powered by renewable energy and works hard to actively improve the environment. The website has been fully integrated with Mail Chimp, a well known email marketing platform. Customer data is stored in a secure customer database, which adheres to GDPR regulations.
Our clients opted for an additional detailed training package – which included an introduction to using the website, SEO and best practises. They are now confident to manage this website into the future and are fully equipped to do so.
